Peels

Laser Peels and Micro-dermabrasion have become popular methods of taking off the top layer of skin. Skin is usually red following the treatment, and can linger for 1-3 days. Peeling may begin and continue for 3-7 days following a treatment.

Skin Wisdom helps laser peels and micro-dermabrasion in three ways:

The Self-Activating Cleanser thoroughly removes makeup and dirt of civilization to help clear and prevent clogged pores.
The Face & Body Wash and Rescue Spray contains a medical grade silicone. This puts a layer of 10-12 hour protective covering over the skin accelerating rejuvenation. Skin Wisdom does not contain acids or artificial exfoliating ingredients of any type.
Bacteria does not like the environment Skin Wisdom creates on the skin.

Immediately after the micro-dermabrasion, spray the skin with Skin Wisdom Rescue Spray. This establishes and instant barrier of protection over the newly exposed skin and reduces discomfort and redness after a few days.

Skin Wisdom protects the skin. Skin Wisdom does not naturally burn the skin as the above-mentioned products are designed to do. However, when changing skin care regimen of any type, some people may experience a breakout or redness that could last up to two weeks. The likelihood of a breakout is greater when changing from the above stated product categories to Skin Wisdom.

Best results are obtained when Skin Wisdom is used with such products, 10-12 hours before or after application of the above mentioned products.

Peels, Laser or Microdermabrasion Regimen

Gain quick comfort and timely skin rejuvenation with this four step, twice daily Skin Wisdom Regimen:

Note: Immediately after micro-dermabrasion, spray with Skin Wisdom Rescue Spray. This establishes an instant protective layer over the freshly exposed skin. Increase comfort and reduces redness after a few days. As the skin calms begin the regime with:

Step One: Once skin is calmed down, at nighttime, gently dab a thin layer of Skin Wisdom Self-Activating Cleanser over dry skin. Wait 15 to 30 seconds and pat off with a soft dry cloth.

Step Two: Gently cleanse with Skin Wisdom Face & Body Wash

Its' gentle foaming non-alkaline soap is ph balanced and can be used on the face or over the entire body. A nylon puff or sponge works well for Face & Body wash to foam. Rinse thoroughly (3 times) with warm water.

Step Three: Moisturize, Rejuvenate and Protect skin with Skin Wisdom Ultra-Moisturizing Crème

Wash hands first and then apply a thin layer of Ultra-Moisturizing Crème to the skin. If the skin area is dry or flaky continue to add Ultra Moisturizing Crème until the skin area is smooth and silky. Repeat as necessary.

Ultra-Moisturizing Crème provides a 10-12 hour barrier of protection onto the skin to promote recovery and rejuvenation.

Step Four: Protect and Restore with Skin Wisdom Rescue Spray

After cleansing, shake well and mist a light, non-oily barrier of Skin Wisdom Rescue Spray protection over the affected areas. Pat or let dry naturally. The 10-12 hour barrier of protection placed on the skin goes to work instantly providing soothing comfort. Rescue Spray will not sweat off or rub off. Use Rescue Spray twice or more each day to ensure a full 24-hour protective barrier. Rescue Spray is clear, and clean as well as fast and easy to use.
